Hyderabad: Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds (speeds ranging from 30 to 40 kmph) are likely to occur at isolated places over Telangana during the next five days, the Meteorological Centre said on Friday.
In a daily weather report here, it said that light to moderate rain, or thundershowers, is likely to occur at isolated places over the state during the next seven days.
Very heavy rainfall occurred at isolated places in Mahabubabad. Heavy rainfall occurred at many places in Mahabubabad, at a few places in Hanumakonda, Hyderabad, and at isolated places in Bhadradri Kothagudem, Jangaon, Jogulamba Gadwal, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Suryapet, and Wanaparthy.
Rain occurred at most places in the state during the same period.
The highest maximum temperature of 39.8 degrees Celsius was recorded in Adilabad, Telangana, on Thursday, the report added.
