IPL 2018 to be aired in 6 Indian languages

Gurugram: With an eye on increasing the upcoming edition of Indian Premier League's (IPL) viewership to 700 million, sports broadcaster Star India will air the cash-rich league in six different languages across TV and digital platform.Other than Hindi and English, the cash-rich league's 11th season will be broadcast in regional languages namely Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Bengali, Star India announced on Wednesday.

Moreover, to bring fans close to their favourite cricketers, camera angles and commentary language selection option will be made available to viewers in the Virtual Reality (VR) mode, which will available on Hotstar. Besides this, live stream of the tournament in Hotstar will be available without the five-minute delay. (UNI)
