In a shocking incident, condoms, stones and gutka were found inside samosas in the canteen of Tata Motors in Pimpri Chinchwad area of Pune, Maharashtra.
The police have registered an FIR against 5 people in this case. One accused has also been arrested while further probe is underway.
Among them, two were workers from a subcontracting firm responsible for the samosa supply, while the other three were partners from a firm whose contract was cancelled earlier for adulteration in snacks.
As per police, a catering service company Catalyst Service Solutions Pvt. Ltd., was providing snacks to the canteen of the Chikhali-based automobile company. In this order, Catalyst Service entered into an agreement with a subcontracting firm SRS Enterprises for the supply of samosas.
One day a bandage that was applied on wounds was found inside the samosa being supplied by SRS. After which its contract was terminated and another Pune-based company, Manohar Enterprises was given the contract.
SRS owner got angry over this and hatched a conspiracy along with his partners to defame the Manohar Enterprises. They sent two of their employees to Manohar Enterprises and they stuffed samosas with condoms, gutkha and stones.
